Organizational Coaching

What it is:

I work with organizations and groups to provide culture change consultations, facilitations, and workshops.  Through this work, we surface factors contributing to harmful and oppressive dynamics within the organization, identify strategies for addressing and changing those factors, and nurture systems of mutual care.  

Things you might find me say, ask, offer, invite: 

  • What are the power dynamics within this organization?

  • Who feels able to express themselves?  Who seems to be expressing themselves less? Who might feel that they must express themselves?  Why? 

  • What are the systems and structures that create or enable harmful dynamics?

  • What are the interpersonal dynamics that are harmful?

  • What are the norms and practices with regard to relationships with each other?

  • Is there a shared understanding of the harm that has occurred?

  • What are the opportunities for change?  

  • What are the changes that are essential to address these dynamics?

  • What is the level of willingness to address these dynamics?

  • What might need to happen to bring people together in service of change?
